Intel Corp will celebrating its 40 year anniversary. This year as well is the mark of 5 year anniversary of Intel technology called Centrino. After 5 years of this technology, Intel plans to launch Intel Centrino 2 at the second quater of this year.
What makes Intel Centrino 2 different from its predecessor? It is claimed to be more energy saving, thus, the battery life of a laptop using Intel Centrino 2 based will be longer. Aside from that, it size will 60% smaller. It will be a good news for laptop manufactures as they can play around with the layout and sizes for the laptop they produce.
